It’s time to have a Summertime Splash Pool Party! It is officially summer and I am kicking it off with a little celebration poolside! We are mostly summer birthdays in this fam bam and I have loved designing for them this year! There have been some milestone parties to say the least! The Big 50 Fast Cars & Cigars party for my hubby that you can enjoy viewing here, my youngest son’s 18th pool party, my oldest son’s 22 looks good on you, and well, mine is 49 and holding! They will be coming to the blog very soon!
In keeping with the summer birthday themes, there is a new collection coming soon to the store! It is the “Stay Spicy!” Collection. Great for birthdays of any age and fun for poolside! It is inspired by spectacular succulents that I love and cactus that is very festive! Throw a little spice in there with your party appetizers and drinks and you are set! Let’s Party!
This printable “Stay Spicy!” Birthday Banner has already hit the website! Get your party started by getting yours now here.
Then add this festive 5 x7 watercolor Cactus print! It is free for you to download here!
1/4 cup watermelon juice or juice cocktail (I used Arizona brand)
1/4 cup Silver Tequila or your choice
1 small Lime freshly squeezed
2-3 jalapeno slices
Sea Salt for rim of glass
*Wet rim of glass with lime and dip into salt. Fill your cocktail shaker with all ingredients and shake for 10-15 seconds. Pour into your glass and garnish with watermelon! This is for a single serving. You can adjust the recipe to double, triple, etc…if wanting to make a pitcher.
Let me introduce you to the Cacti centerpiece that hung out at the party with the spicy watermelon bevs! This pretty thing was created because I could not find one locally. I ran out of time to shop online so of course I think I’ll just make one! Y’all it is so easy! I loved how she turned out! You can of course use it as a centerpiece like I have or the party pinata! Read the how to here!
Summer nights and birthdays must have a great appetizer, so savory and sweet it is! Cold Crab Dip with Cracked Pepper Triscuits and homemade Coconut Pineapple Frozen yogurt pops are served right up. I would say that says summertime splash, pool party and stay-cation!
I purchased this bar cart in the early spring at Big Lots! I really love the detailing and it was a score at the price of 49.00! I used it in it’s original state of brushed metal for a few occasions and Easter that you can view on my Easter post but when I bought it I envisioned it to be white. So, with a few cans of spray paint she is sparkly white and I am excited about it!
…and every party should have balloons! Letting them float around in the pool is perfect!
