Happy Spring friends!
I am very excited that Spring is here and Easter is around the corner! Let’s celebrate these with vignettes! I love this season because everything has a fresh new start in every way from the trees, to the flowers and plants blooming, to the special holiday celebration of Easter. It is time to do a little “spring cleaning” and bring out the decorations for both.
This is a lovely time to start prepping your home for spring parties to come! I have teamed up with a group of very talented ladies, 10 fantastic creatives who have designed and styled beautiful ideas to share! I invite you to join us on this lovely “Spring into Easter” Blog Hop! You are going to love all the amazing ideas!
If you are hopping by from the talented Annaliese of Made of Sugar & Spice, W E L C O M E! Let’s get started!
I have collected several seasonal spring and Easter items over the years. I love pulling them out each year! This year a few new things have been added. One being this bar cart! I had my eye on it last year and decided this year was the year to grab it! It was purchased at Big Lots and it was really simple to put together. I thought it would be a great addition to decorate with seasonal vignettes and for parties. Hard surfaces were added out of wood and faux marble peel and stick laminate to have a sturdier surface for decorating. You can read how to marbleize an item in a “how to” post here. I love decorating my mantle and added this small celebratory cart station to grab some lemonade and a sweet treat when entertaining for the Easter holiday.
Another new addition from Hobby Lobby was the beautifully painted flag of this cute bunny nestled in the grass. It looks so pretty front and center over the mantle. The purple tissue pom garland was picked up at the Dollar Tree! They always have fun seasonal items and only 1.00! The purple gingham banner is an instant download printable from my online shop. It is very cute and versatile to have on hand for parties. You can shop it here.
On a trip to Target, I couldn’t help but pick up the cute “happy easter” wooden sign to adorn at the top of the Easter Flag…it just looks like it was made for it! That dollar spot is so awesome to pick up the cutest detailed decor!
I have had this little tree since my kids were young…oh goodness probably for about 20 years now. I love to change it out with seasonal decor! These eggs have been in my collection for about the same amount of time. They are sentimental in the fact that I have always used them in different ways whether it be on this tree, hanging from my dining room chandelier or taking the ribbon off and displaying in a crystal bowl. The bunny standing and the bunny driving are also long timers in my collection. They were a Hobby Lobby purchase several years back as well. The vintage vibe is my favorite.
The “oh hey” Spring is a perfect little touch to welcome the season! You can shop it here. This is a fun printable to use in decor, it can be used as a planner cover as well!
This bar cart is going to come in handy for so many festivities to come! Seriously, y’all this cart was 49.00! Adding the faux marble tops just adds a little more style. I love it! I am still debating whether to paint it white or not. I think it would make the detailing on the cart really pop! Maybe you should help me decide. Leave a comment and let me know your thoughts!
…and what about this paper flower banner on the cart. I mean, adorable! This was picked up with the “happy easter” sign above from Target. So cute!
Let’s talk about all the spring cuteness on the cart. This little vignette is so fun!
We have to start with my favorite flower! I LOVE tulips! Yes I do…so in the spring I try to pick them up whenever I can since they are such a seasonal flower. These beautiful white tulips were placed in a very sentimental piece. It is a pink milk glass pitcher my husband’s grandmother Wood gave me when we first got married. I love to use things of sentimental value to decorate. A decorating tip to share would be to always check your cabinets and use your items you already have. It makes it all the more pretty! I know Grandma Wood would love this!
Let’s talk tasty treats for a moment. I love to make sweets and appetizers but, sometimes it’s fun to make items that are semi-homemade. If you are short on time, these little nest egg treats are perfect, yummy and cute! These are coconut macaroons from your local Braum’s. They taste so yummy! Just hollow out the middle a little with a knife and insert your candy eggs. Lay on a bed of natural raffia in a cute cupcake liner. You are set!
In keeping with the Easter vignette theme, I have included a printable of scripture on the cart. It is a favorite and especially on Easter. It is my gift to you…download it here. : )
Isn’t this little guy the cutest! Mason jars with chocolate bunnies and candy eggs make for a great little favor to give at Easter whether by itself or nestled in an Easter basket!

Another item picked up at Target were these sweet little tulip straws. I am in love!
Colored raffia was added as a sweet touch to coordinate with the raffia under the nest egg candy treats and the bunny treat jars. Perfect!
No cupcake is complete unless it has a topper right? Buffalo Plaid is a favorite of mine. You can find it in all colors of printables in my shop! You can shop these sweet toppers here.
